Demonstration against Columbus ships at Lorain harbor

A small group protested replica ships the Nina and the Pinta docked at Black River Landing in Lorain after they arrived from Ashtabula. Teen Shot in Elyria House Leaves 16-Year-Old in Critical Condition

Police say a 16-year-old was shot multiple times in a living room on George Street near East Avenue and was flown to Cleveland for treatment. A 36-year-old man who lives at 201 George Street was found at the scene. detectives searched for others and neighbors declined to comment.
