Klan Nazi trial opens in Greensboro North Carolina
An all white jury of six men and six women is set to hear the trial of four Ku Klux Klansmen and two Nazis charged with killing five Communists at a Death to the Klan rally nine months ago. Opening arguments were due today as prosecutors and defense attorneys outline cases. The trial could run at least two months. Outside Guilford County Courthouse a noon protest by the Communist Workers Party claims government involvement in the slayings. Five Communists were killed in a Greensboro housing project during a CWP rally.
