Trap film review contrasts Shyamalan pace with a pressure cooker plot
The review labels Trap as a PG 13 thriller with 1 hour 45 minutes running time. It notes stealing badges and staging a daughter’s appearance as a dubious setup for the killer’s mission. Critics compare the director to Hitchcock and question the film’s dialogue driven scenes and pacing while praising Hartnett's effort.
