Ely Square concert series ends in Elyria returns in 2025
The Elyria Parks and Recreation Department wrapped up a four week free summer series in Ely Square with a final Saturday performance by Those Guys. About 40 residents attended at 5 30 p.m. and enjoyed rock and country covers with local food trucks. Shooting in Elyria Township hospitalizes man
Aman was hospitalized after a shooting in Elyria Township on Saturday. The Lorain County Sheriff's Office received reports at 2 14 p m Saturday of a man shot multiple times at 42163 North Ridge Road. The incident may have occurred near Lake Avenue and Griswold Road, about two miles away. The victim drove to North Ridge Road for help, was taken to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, then transferred to University Hospitals Main Campus in Cleveland. A white Chevrolet Camaro is named as the suspect vehicle. Investigation ongoing. detectives seek information at (440) 329 3749.
