Elyria Mayor pushes long term plan for school city growth
Mayor William Grace outlines a broad vision tied to Envision Elyria and the Independent Citizens Committee. He argues for a city wide long term plan, including a new Elyria High School, funding via an income tax, and expansion of community facilities while preserving ICC conclusions. He notes past goals and stresses listening to residents and leveraging low interest rates for the “larger picture.” He cites street paving gains, grants, and tax options as part of a cohesive development strategy.
