New York Diary Notes From D C McIntyre At Home

A verbose diary entry from New York by D C McIntyre recounts social encounters in Greenwich Village and Manhattan. It notes letters from Mary Lewis, Betty Starbuck, and others, plus small vignettes on cats, a monkey at the Bronx Zoo, pelicans at Central Park, and a World War era cultural milieu with mentions of Carl Van Vechten and Duke’s Mixture. It ends with miscellany on writers, lions, and a 1937 copyright note.
