Woman donates 38 acres to Lorain County Metro Parks
Anne Palmer of Brownhelm Township donated 38 acres bequeathed by her aunt Hendrika Riemer to the Lorain County Metro Parks. The land lies south of Route 2 and west of Baumhart Road. Palmer noted her aunt’s lifelong philanthropy and welcomed the park district as new neighbors.
