Blaze at Gladwater oil well rages killing and burning many

Auto Overturns Alleged Rum Runner Dies
Ashland Ohio April 29 Eddie Johnson 21 a Columbus rum runner, was killed when his car overturned near his home. Two other occupants Mrs May Johnson and Kenneth Shipe were arrested. Sheriff F Wallett said 100 gallons of liquor were recovered from the wreckage and believed they were taking it to Columbus. Johnson was pinned beneath the wrecked car and his head crushed. Mrs Johnson and Shipe suffered minor bruises.
