Stocker Foundation Nearly Doubles Little Free Libraries in Lorain County
The Stocker Foundation expected 30 libraries with a 30000 investment but 55 have been chartered with four more on a waiting list. A launch party at Lorain County Joint Vocational School showcased over 40 libraries and highlighted contributions from JVS carpentry, Grafton Correctional reintegration center, Hartman Construction, and Sherwin Williams.

Little Free Libraries to Pop Up Across Lorain County
The Stocker Foundation backs fifty five Little Free Libraries to foster literacy in Lorain County. Wooden mini libraries mimic barns churches and a lighthouse and will appear in communities as volunteers become stewards serving reading access. The idea originated with Todd Bol and Rick Brooks in 2009 and grew from Minnesota to Wisconsin and beyond.
