Library levy error corrects cost figures for residents
Elyria library supporters misprinted levy costs in flyer and news items. The 1.9-mill Issue 3, replacing expiring levies, would cost Lorain County taxpayers under $6 per month per each 100 000 of home value, not under $3 as previously stated. Library director Lyn Crouse attributed the error to misinterpretation of millage terms.
