Fence permit ruled invalid by North Ridgeville board

The zoning board of appeals ruled 4-1 that a fence building permit issued to Robert Armanic was invalid due to unintentional falsified information. The dispute centered on the fence’s south side and its setback and height under city zoning, with Maple Drive residents arguing the fence encroached on the right of way and impaired sight lines. Armanic, backed by council president Bernard Lysaght, argued the fence’s position was legal.
