Tractor overturns kill farmer near Van Wert
A tractor overturned in an eight foot ditch near Van Wert Ohio yesterday. Claude C. Stuber aged 48 was pinned in eighteen inches of water and died from injuries. He leaves a wife and seven children. a native of Putnam County.

In Shanghai on April 27 Chinese gunmen bombed the American owned Shankha Evening Post injuring three pressmen and killing a Chinese pedestrian in a stolen taxicab. A French Indo-Chinese policeman was shot dead and White Russian police fired at the fleeing cab, wounding three pedestrians.
