Auto accidents injure several in county weekend
Multiple weekend crashes left several people injured across the county. Mrs. Samuel Long 43 of Sullivan sustained a fractured hip when a car she rode in with her husband tipped over after a collision with Alberta Buckley 40 of Spring Valley near Ridgeville Center. Others injured include Charles Hilde 29, Sullivan with a foot laceration and William Reich 28 of 209 George Street Lorain with a dislocated elbow after a motorcycle fall near Grafton. Dorothy Braithwaite 23 of Oberlin was observed after a crash that demolished their car near Oberlin Route 58. James Morris 26 of Vermilion broke a rib and suffered severe bruises after being struck on the highway near Lake and Haughn roads. Four hurt in Kipton area when two cars collided on Route 20 near Kinton. Police listed further damage on Lake Avenue near Kipton after another crash. Continued on Page 2.

Washington April 26 The Supreme Court ruled against Ohio in its case against Ohio Bell Telephone Co ordering refunds of 18 million dollars to subscribers across 45 cities and remanding the matter for further hearings. The decision criticized the Ohio Utilities Commission price trends method and noted due process questions in the allocation of excess income. The refund covers earnings from 192 to 1932 with interest.
