Burglars Loot Cherry Ridge Golf Club Storage
Police said burglars broke into the Cherry Ridge Golf Club at 1211 W. River St. N. Sunday night and stole golfing equipment merchandise and a television set. Allen Robishaw, 24, of Spencer, pleaded innocent in Medina Municipal Court to second degree murder charges tied to the March 31 shooting death of Marion C Lewis of Lodi. Six of eight persons secretly indicted by the Lorain County Grand Jury were arrested by Lorain sheriff's deputies and Elyria police. Arrested on warrants were Thomas J. Zvara Freddie Sherrill and Thomas D. Meadows for burglary grand larceny and related charges. North Ridgeville council, in a committee of the whole session, tentatively decided to use its 278000 share of a 5900000 state bond issue for road projects. The first 80000 will cover the city’s share of the Rt 120 relocation with the Highway Department.
