Federal fraud charges filed against Lorain tax consultant Zakarian
Federal information accuses Richard Zakarian 47 of mailing and wiring fraud totaling over 4.4 million dollars from about 100 clients and investors dating back to 2002. He allegedly pilfered funds through two schemes involving payroll and tax service clients and individual investors. Zakarian has been jailed since last summer and faces prior theft claims and lawsuits in Lorain County.
