Guard loses pay over racial slurs at Grafton
A two day unpaid penalty was imposed on Lt. David Adams at Grafton Correctional Institution after an investigation found he used racially insensitive language during a Feb. 11 discussion with inmates Eugene Thomas and Jason Oliphant. Corrections Officer Allen Penny reported overhearing the slurs. Adams admitted making the statements. both inmates described the remarks differently.
