Lorain police officer Stephen Szucs remains suspended until proof of completing an intensive outpatient program for alcohol abuse is provided. A March 31 report states he appeared intoxicated at a civilian’s apartment complex, submitted two breath tests showing .05 BAC, and logged 30 days suspension plus a three day hold in abeyance tied to a 2006 off duty incident.
Crews begin fencing the former block between Sixth and Seventh streets as Regency Construction Services drills 290 geothermal holes 500 feet deep for the $68 million Elyria High School.
