Help Korea Train Crossing Nation
The first section of the Help Korea Trains began a cross country run yesterday to collect goods for the American-Korean Foundation's relief drive. Two more trains will start from Philadelphia and Boston. The effort aims to gather 600 carloads totaling 36 million pounds of goods for Korea, traveling to the San Francisco Bay area for shipment. The project operates at no cost to the foundation via the Association of American Railroads. The foundation also seeks 10 million dollars in cash contributions.
