Mayor promises to keep Colonial Oaks water on
Mayor Michael Keys assured Colonial Oaks Mobile Home Park residents that water would not be shut off again after a Thursday morning outage. Park owners behind on bills led to a 315-site water cut, with 20 percent of rent unpaid since November. Manager Larry Gould cited financial straits and noted a possible alternative of metering each home. The fire department was notified that water and hydrants at the park were affected.
