Euclid Inc. president Vaso Kozlovich reflects on decades of activism amid foreign competition and looming concessions, urging readiness for wage and benefit cuts to survive.

Supreme Court upholds Parma desegregation order
The Supreme Court let stand a lower-court ruling that compels Parma Ohio to take “positive” steps to diversify its almost all white population. The case, part of a housing discrimination dispute, involved Parma’s 1971 measures aimed at excluding black residents, despite census figures showing Black residents in the broader Cleveland metropolitan area. Parma, a Cleveland suburb with about 100 000 people in 1970, had only around 50 Black residents, illustrating stark racial disparities in housing.
