The county clerk reports 6 001 autos registered under the Atwood law effective August 17. About 5 801 registrations and 9 000 papers handled, with 25 cents filing fee per paper totaling $2 250 for the public treasury. Penfield, Apr 20 On April 14, Mr. and Mrs. D C Bunt marked their sixty third wedding anniversary at their Penfield home. He came to Penfield as a child from Jefferson County New York and has lived on the same farm ever since. Mrs. Bunt, Mary Jane Mosher by birth, also from New York, came to La Grange at age one and married Mr Bunt in 1859. Their children—now all deceased except Himer—supported the couple in later years as they maintained an active lifestyle through milking and farm chores.
The Loening air yacht completed the Palm Beach to New York flight in nine hours 56 minutes, a single day record. Pilot Clifford La Webster and assistant pilot Fred R. Golder led the flight covering about 1,210 miles.
