Zumbathon benefits injured teen in North Ridgeville
North Ridgeville residents packed the community room for a Zumbathon to raise funds for 17 year old Andrew Ody who suffered a serious brain injury after a July golf cart accident. Event organizers, including Parks Director Kevin Fougerousse, said the turnout was among the largest they have seen. The fundraiser raised over $1,000 to help cover medical costs as Andrew begins a long recovery involving outpatient therapy. Andrew’s mother Erin Miles and father Christopher Ody attended with other supporters, some of whom plan to continue Zumba sessions at the senior center.
