Payner May Get Raise and 5 Year Contract
Lorain County Board of Mental Retardation superintendent Dr Ellen Payner may receive a 3975 raise and a new five year contract raising her pay to 48000 annually. The proposal would place her as the highest paid public official in Lorain County, with only Lorain County Children's Services head Thomas Porter earning more. The plan was developed with input from board members and reflects salaries of comparable districts. The contract discussion will occur in a two hour executive session before a public meeting at 9 pm.
