WPA Modernization Expands Lorain County Sewers
A Lorain County WPA program has built and repaired disposal plants sewers and water lines over four and a half years. Workers installed more than 25 miles of storm and sanitary sewers completed five water mains and distribution lines and built 1355 manholes catch basins and 1300 sanitary privies. Projects include Lorain Sanitary and Water Lines Wellington Sewerage Plant and Elyria Sewer and Water Lines.
