Elyrian Tops Field in Flashtype Typing Contest
Tony Duke of Lorain County Joint Vocational School led the Flashtype competition sponsored by the Ohio Office Education Association earning a personal computer. More than 200 LCIVS OCEA students solicited per minute pledges for Muscular Dystrophy, raising about 2069 dollars with the Computers and Accounting 1A class contributing 811 dollars to top the drive. Duke pledged 302 dollars. He is a junior son of Reece and Linda Duke of Elyria.
