Ohio May primary sign up records set
Ohioans flocked to county boards to meet the May 2 primary voter registration deadline. In Columbus Franklin County tallied more than 3,000 new registrations, Hamilton County saw 2,500, and Cleveland reached about 3,000, lifting statewide total past 810,000. Officials credited a court ruling loosening residency rules and student drives for the surge.
