Spencer volunteer fire department received praise from Buckeye Union Insurance Co. adjusters after their methodical work at the Black River Junior High School fire. They extinguished arson-caused blazes with minimal damage, allowing students to clean and resume classes. Superintendent Bangert noted the adjusters’ approval of the volunteers.
