Women’s Benefit Association Plans Health Day Event
Deputy Dorothy Berry presided at the Kef P hall meeting as Health Day was set for April 15 with district nurse Martha Dixon and state field rector Mrs Phoenpe Jones as special guests. The afternoon session begins at 2 with Wellington Lorain Vermilion guests, a 6 pm dinner, and an evening session at 3 with candidate initiations. Members with January February or March birthdays were honored. The next meeting is April 5 in the K of P hall.

At the regular closed meeting at Community Hall Worthy Master Laurence Kelley lauded the Grange for doubling in 1947 and presented Frances Byron a pen for bringing in fifteen or more new members. A membership drive, summer meetings at 2 oclock, and Red Cross support were discussed along with plans for a New London Community Hospital drive and a forthcoming April 5 meeting.
