Mustang sales surge as Ford repackages car nationwide
Elyria dealers report strong Mustang demand since the 1998 model year began in October. Ford says sales are up 30 percent, driven by a repackaged, better equipped Mustang at lower prices. Beckett building sold for new Elyria firm homes
Eagle Properties Ltd bought the 10 acre Beckett Gas site at 38900 Taylor Parkway for 1.5 million. Lasercraft Inc and Tool & Die Systems, both at 10800 Middle Ave, will move in between November and January. Beckett Gas will lease back until a new 6.5 million plant is ready next January.
