Modern Tabernacle Church Design Stuns in Columbus Ind
A world famous architect creates a bold church exterior in Columbus Indiana for the Tabernacle Church of Christ. The design replaces traditional forms with straight lines and off center balances, featuring a single east window, a reflecting pool entry, and a prominent cross. The interior mirrors spiritual aims with simple, dignified beauty. Architect Eliel Saarinen conceived the plan, with Pierre and Wright of Indiana assisting in construction.
