Three Judges Ignore Mercy in First Degree Murder Verdict

A Stark County three judge court found Frank Paul Martin Jr. guilty of first degree murder without mercy for the Dec. 4 robbery and beating of James Rose. Bank Seeks Receivership for Park Oil and Gas Co

In Common Pleas Court this morning the Dime Savings Bank of Akron sought to freeze Park Oil & Gas Co assets and appoint a receiver to satisfy a $27 675 judgment on a cognovit note. Co defendants include Park Oil president John Nickles and George Sargent. Peoples Bank and East Ohio Gas Co. named to help satisfy the judgment. An injunction to restrain transfers was requested pending further action.
