City Heating Code Shelved In Council
The heating and ventilating ordinance, pending for 18 months, was tabled indefinitely by city council. L W Kilgore, chair of a mayorappointed committee, said a draft building code will be presented in January and passing a separate heating law now would complicate matters. He urged treating heating as part of the building code. Council reversed last week’s tabling and voted to take a position after a plea to decide.
