A 3 year old girl Sandy Robison, blue eyed and golden haired, was found dead from exposure near the Foster farm in Springfield. Coroner Austin Richards said exposure was the primary cause with possible pneumonia. The child had been missing since Thursday and was last seen playing on the Foster lawn. Police and sheriffs investigated ties to her missing father William Robison and potential kidnapping by a passing motorist.
