900 Youngsters Brave Friday Rain To Attend Service
During a draining Friday storm, more than 900 children crossed McKinley avenue and Tuscara to reach the annual Good Friday service at First Presbyterian Church. Led by Richard Foltz and aided by Lawrence Zagray and Richard Bruter, the youth ushers guided attendees while Eleanor Mizer lit and extinguished a candle. The service featured junior choir numbers, Philip J. Hodel on the organ, and brief messages by Rev. C. H. LaRue and Rev. C. O. Armstrong, ending with benediction by Rev. W. A. Atchison.

Police say Maurice Hesson of 1012 8th St SW drove the car. Myrna’s parents Roy and Mrs Haas and three brothers survive. Funeral services set for Monday at Fisher funeral home in Warsaw.

Springfield Ohio April 16 authorities intensified a search for Sandy Robison a three year old blond girl who vanished from a farm yard west of Springfield. Sheriff J Arthur Shuman said clues have yielded no evidence and a large search is under way for her missing father William Robison thirty three who has been gone about three weeks. The girl lived with Earl Foster Route 40 and her mother is in hospital. Shuman noted a possible link between father and daughter.

Police traced the suspect via a tip and detain him for Maury County authorities. The murder weapon was a poker and robbery motive was suspected as several hundred dollars were reportedly stolen. The case led authorities through Dover and Navarre before Bass was apprehended in Canton.
