N D July 22. A man who escaped from the penitentiary four years ago was captured last evening at Marmarth. He had been sent up from Bowman for horse stealing and afterward lived abroad in eastern Europe, sending letters to the warden hoping to avoid return to the United States. Warden Ta y Sa assumed. Stages departure are to rag compish anything. The text heard of him was the notice of his arrest at Marmarth.

Robber Bound Over To District Court In Minot Case
Jock Duncan a 24 year old city newcomer was arrested Wednesday morning on robbery charges stemming from a two o'clock hotel theft. He waived examination before Judge Randall and was bound over to district court. Unable to post bond he is jailed in Minot awaiting the next term. The complainant Mrs Arthur Turner says Duncan snatched her handbag containing a watch earrings and money about $90. he returned it before arrest. Sheriff Heath found him after the warrant was issued. Assistant States Attorney Hauge and States Attorney Hanson handled the case.
