Eight Galicians one Frenchman and an Englishman were lodged in the county jail by Immigration Inspector C F Meyers to await action from Washington. Authorities have been deporting aliens who escaped from Canada as the search widens from the border to this region. Thirteen escapees are being held in jail awaiting departure back to the Dominion. Names given include Louis Latrail John Allen Poole Simon Sowei Michael Shewhuk Alex Snechzlt Peter ous Michael Tracz Nikola Hrachuk Marcin Podgruakt and an unnamed detainee.
