Bowbells merchant Cox closes store and prepares to move

R B Cox closed his Bowbells general store after selling remaining groceries to H C Blenkner and shelving, lighting and fuel equipment to T B Hurry. He plans to leave for Dover with packing up items and to pursue business at a new location after a long career spanning Montana North Dakota and Ontario.

Airship Belemot Monoplane Burns In City Crash

DeWitt C. Dorman’s 50 horsepower Belemot monoplane burned at 4 45 pm on the North side as he prepared to fly with a crowd of local businessmen. Gasoline near the carburetor ignited and fire spread quickly. ground crews tried dirt, river, and waterless methods but the craft was destroyed. Insurance covered some value but Dorman faces a heavy loss.
