Connect Woburn line to Bowbells telephones
At a Commercial Club meeting in the courthouse a committee was appointed to draft and circulate a petition among Bowbells telephone patrons. They urge owner Mr Greaves to connect the Woburn line with Bowbells at the old rate or discontinue service. Greaves, who earlier sought to buy the line, now demands six dollars per phone per year or the sale of the Woburn line. The community fears loss of the line if no agreement is reached.

Wind Storm Wrecks Farm Buildings Near Bowbells
The Tribune reports a high wind event that damaged Durand’s barn and nearby structures five miles east of Bowbells. A 14 by 28 foot barn lien was ripped away, pieces scattered, and small outbuildings destroyed while a hay wagon was lifted and spun without damage. C. A. Johnston now in Glenavon Saskatchewan notes good crops and predicts wheat yields of about 30 bushels per acre if frost does not strike. Two Men Die as North Dakota Cyclone Hits Noonan Area
A cyclone struck Noonan Crosby Larson and Kermit North Dakota at 6 55 this morning killing two farm hands and injuring several. Major damage included Truax Bros barns many buildings and storage tanks, a cement block factory blown down, and a destroyed lumber yard roof. The four year old son of Christopherson injured his arm while the cook car carrying the family was demolished. Local residents Victor and Mrs. Lind visited Wisconsin relatives recently. Miss Georgia Mar Chambers lectured at the Presbyterian church with a well attended children’s meeting and a later talk on The Future Boy and the Coming Girl.
