Two Die in Kerosene Explosion at Deep Farm
Mrs. Robert A. Luedtke and her baby girl died from injuries after a kerosene can exploded at their Deep area farm home. Neighbors rescued the child and Mrs. Luedtke, who died later. a doctor and neighbors aided, funeral services planned at Deep Lutheran church. The tragedy, one of the region’s worst, prompted community mourning as Mr. Luedtke receives widespread sympathy.

Builder Moline Robbed in New York City
E A Moline of Bottineau North Dakota an hotel guest at Hotel Cadillac reported theft of 150 dollars in cash and three checks worth 300 each from his coat in a Broadway hotel. He met a stranger in Union Square who asked the way to the Hippodrome then disappeared with the man after they went to the washroom where the loss occurred. Moline had departed Bottineau two weeks earlier for a tour of South America and Europe.

Samuel Cathro aged 75 died in Calgary Alberta after traveling from Bottineau County where he settled in 1886. Survived by sons Fred W Bottineau Frank Calgary Percy Washington. Born in London Ontario he spent final years in travel with wife deceased in October.
