Ole Vinje Dies After Lingering Illness in Bottineau
Ole Vinje, aged 50, a Bottineau settler and pioneer, died Sunday at his home after a long illness from Brights disease. Born Oct 26 1858 in Snaasa Norway he had lived in Bottineau county for two decades and left a wife three children and two brothers. Funeral Tuesday at the Norwegian Lutheran church with Rev K O Ruftshol and Rev John P Davis officiating. Remains interred in the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery near Carbury beside family graves.
