Notice of Sheriff Sale of land in Beaver County Oklahoma
The sheriff of Beaver County Oklahoma will sell at the courthouse door in Beaver on November 11 1901 at 2 PM the West Half of the Southwest Quarter 10 and North Half of the Northwest Quarter 15 in Township 4 North Range 28 West to satisfy a 1918 judgment for 400 with 10 percent interest from February 1914 and 40 attorney fees plus costs and taxes. The sale follows a foreclosure decree in the Sixty third district court against John A. Stemen Jeme P. Mounts Mable Mounte and Ad Dickson. Bridgewater sheriff Beaver County Oklahoma signs the notice.

A visitor from the US College praised Beaver in town last week noting stores open at seven, early garage access, and friendly streets. He spoke highly of two Beaver youths Mildred Steadman and Mile Mildred, and urged locals to support both good and bad matters to improve Beaver.

The Beaver school faculty hosted a Monday evening program at the High School Building. Despite threatening weather, a smaller crowd enjoyed welcome remarks by Supt. C. A. Andrew, musical numbers by Anna Hughes and others, readings by W. L. Henson, and refreshments before attendees left through the rain.

Zimmerman Wins Big at Beaver County Fair Hog Show
E D Zimmerman won multiple prizes at a Texas County Fair event in Beaver. He entered four hogs, taking first on the Junior yearling boar Liberator Giant, fret on the Senior yearling sow Fashion Lad, second on the Junior Sow pig, plus top honors in Best Show Herd and grand places. Beaver exhibitors praised his quality stock, noting they raised the bar for local hog breeding. Other Beaver participants included M A Shuler, Guy Beckwith, S Enterline, B A Trosper, and Mrs Ellis Jordan, with Mrs Jordan winning on Junior Low pigs. Ada B Hooper nee Ada B Smith of Coldwater Kansas visited with relatives near Forgan. Mrs Hooper, former Beaver regulator, is mourned by friends after the death of her son. Mirth Caylor and Miss Pearl Allman hosted a local dinner Sunday.
