Beaver county notes report Beaver Meade Englewood railway survey under way from Forgan toward Hooker with plans to Boise City. Jacob Achanbach president visits Forgan as survey lines are laid. Graduation Honors At Eleventh Grade Ceremony In Beaver

The Eleventh Grade Graduation in Beaver lasted Saturday night at the Air Dome drawing a large crowd despite rain deterring some. About 100 boys and girls attended, with valedictorian Gladys Kent from District 164 posting a 46 3 14 percent average. Other top scholars Mildred Bowden and Emily Crusenberry followed as second and third, while the class total reached 257, the largest to graduate that year, with many graduates listed from the ceremony and nearby areas.

Oklahoma State Fair to Host Purebred Pet Division

The 1922 Oklahoma State Fair opens a new poultry and pet division focused on purebred cats and dogs. No entry fees. exhibitors receive a coop and ribbons for winning entries. Entries close September 20 as the event centers public interest on animal care at the state exposition.
