Masons Picnic At Peckham Grove Near Beaver
Masons plan a picnic at Peckham grove north of Beaver on July 20 with Henry Johnson noted as a brilliant orator. Rev J W Duff of Boyd preached at the Christian church last Sunday and will return next Sunday. Webb Petty and his son of Clear Lake visited the Will Welle ranch last Friday.

J W Sims Dies Farmer of Beaver County
John W Sims aged 2 years died June 26 194 at the home of his daughter Mrs K N Miller at Seattuck after months of heart trouble. He was laid to rest June 27 in Shattuck cemetery. Funeral services were at the Baptist church conducted by Rev Butler with a male quartet singing. He leaves a wife four daughters and two sons along with siblings and his mother. Beaver county loses a fine citizen noted for his honesty and hard work on The Kiowa Valley Jack Farm east of Sunset and ranching duties near Shattuck.

Double Wedding at Elmwood in 1922 Celebrates Elsie and Hazel Hibbs
A prettily staged double ceremony at the Green dyke home in Elmwood joined Elsie and Hazel Hibbs to Clay Hibbs and Jo ig Barker on Sunday June 25, 1922. Reverend H. G. Butler united the couples after a Lohengrin march by Vesta Carter. Guests, gifts, and a noon dinner followed. Both brides, Benwyer High School 1917 grads, later taught together at LaKemp, known for basketball skill and friendly personalities. The grooms hail from nearby farming families and will reside south of Beaver. The Herald extends congratulations. Witnesses included multiple local families and officers, while Bernard Loofbourrow and Orlando P. Sweet, former Beaver High principal, ranked high in the Oklahoma Bar examination.
