Obituary of Civil War veteran Eliexson dies at 76
The obituary notes oeere ees born November 1, 1845 and died July 20 aged 6 years 9 months in the Civil War era. He served and was wounded, later crippled, and underwent surgery contributing to his death. He moved west in 1866 to Cherokee county Kansas, drove a government freight team across plains during Indian times, married Theda Elizabeth Curtis on November 17, 1870, and had ten children eight living. He joined the Christian church in 39 years ago in Rldorado Kansas and remained a faithful member until death. He lived near Dom bey Oklahoma since August 15 1904, died July 29 1922 at Liberal Hospital. Interment in Liberal Masonic or G A R lot.
