Jamestown District Council Minutes January 30 1948
The Jamestown District Council met January 30 1948 at 10 a.m. in the Council Chamber. Attendees included Dr M Holland as Chairman and Councillors Hoffmann Catford Cronin Swearse Bray, etc. Reports covered flood risk on roads near Caltowie and Laura, fire incidents and coordination with Fire Controllers, caravan sales, and various departmental inputs. Decisions included approving 44 hour week adjustments, vehicle and equipment tenders, and purchases including two caravans and a Fordson Major tractor upgrade with loan application.
