The Bela lie Agricultural Society held its 73rd annual meeting at Memorial Hall Supper Room. President A J Symonds presented a fourth annual report noting a 1947 show surplus of £242 with attendance near 9 000 and gate takings rising to £541 from 523 in 1946.
