Red Letter Day for Alma and the Maccabees of Central Michigan
Alma Tent No 84 and Alma Hive No 383 celebrate the formation of a Central Michigan Maccabee association with a Sept 7 picnic in Alma. Delegates from Gratiot Isabella Clare Midland Saginaw Shiawassee Clinton and Montcalm gathered to form the group, parade through Alma, and hold a park ceremony with welcomes, remarks, and athletic contests. St Louis won the next year’s meeting site and Sir Knight Burns was elected president, with prize listings for parade participation and appearances by Forest Hill Ithaca and other units.
