Indications point to a successful year as Alma College marks opening day with Pleasant One on campus. Students faculty and guests gathered for ceremonies and announcements signaling optimism for the season ahead.
Rev C E Homg delivered the opening address as Alma College reports its largest enrollment in history. The campus buzzed with arrivals as students and families arrived by train, and chapel filled for the opening exercises led by Rev H Bloy. The newly expanded kindergarten department gains emphasis with music training and new faculty, including Miss Mingins from Detroit and Miss Chees.
The incumbent Wright asserts not moderation but firm party fidelity while backing Fremont era platform. Halton, a Republican candidate, is praised for steadfast duty and popularity in Ciratiot County, urging voters toward a strong pro republican stance.
