Big Riverdale fire destroys mill and machinery

A blaze at Riverdale started between 1 and 2 pm after a freight train passed west. The entire mill and its machinery including a shingle machine, saws, packing frames, log turner, bolting saw, and boiler were consumed. Mr. Robinson faces thousand-dollar losses with no insurance to cover the damage.

Help 15 Beginning to Arrive For Harvest Season

Death of Mrs Mildred Woodard Anderson

Mrs Mildred Woodard Anderson widow of Herbert S Anderson died at Brainerd hospital after a ten day illness. Funeral from M E church followed by interment in Riverside cemetery. Born in Spencer Mills Michigan she moved with her parents to Clare county and Park Lake Osceola County. Married June 1 1903 she left two children. She expressed faith in the Saviour at death.
