Daughter of Cal leet founder killed in Syria accident

The daughter of George F. Harting, a former president of Alma College, was killed in a recent accident in Tripoli Syria. She had served as a missionary in Syria and joined British Red Cross work during World War I before returning to her missionary duties. The Women’s Auxiliary American Legion planning meeting is set for October 26 at 7 PM in the city hall with a party planned for October 29 and requests attendance for suggestions.
